Do Robo Dwarf hamsters get along with winter white hamsters?

Well, I’m deciding between getting a Guinea Pig or a Winter White Hamster and a Robo Dwarf Hamster. And if I decide on the 2 hamsters i’ll want them to get alone. (Or I could do 1 breed, but I would like different breeds.) so do they get along?

I wouldn’t. They are complete oppisites. Winter Whites are calm (most of the time), playful, and like to be held (well mine does). Robos are snippy, playful, they bite, and they don’t like being held. I would get two Robos or two Winter Whites (same gender of course).

No. They are two entirely different breeds.

Do not put them together for ANYTHING. They would absolutely not get along.

I currently have a Rotastak Adventure Zone with many add ons such as long tubes etc, What do I need to change to the cage so its suitable for Dwarf Hamsters? I used to only ever keep Syrian hamsters in that cage.

Also what other care do Dwarf hamsters need that is different to Syrian???

Really, you could keep things the same. But, if you get a baby dwarf, you should get a small aquarium tank because it might be able to slip through the bars. But once its past about 3-4 months, it’s okay. I recommend guinea pig food and Critter Care bedding. That’s what I use for my chinese dwarfs. The only big difference would be size.

We just had and unexpected litter of hamsters they are at least 2 weeks old.How long do they need to be in the same cage as mom?They are eating regular food and drinking water and running up and down the ladders of the cage.
Also how long is the gestation period for the momma?We didnt get the daddy out of the cage until at least 2 days after we noticed the babies.We believe the momma may be pregnant again she has gotten very big , the first batch of babies are 2 weeks old.How old are they when they start to mate?

I found in a page that they need to be separated as soon as they get hair and coming out of the nest. You need to separate them all since they will breed with each other. The mother most probably is pregnant already.

probably about a 5/6 or so. And yeah guinea pigs seem to be a little bit smarter. but still at most about a 6.5.

I have a Kaytee Forti-Diet Honey Treat but im not sure, do i give him the whole thing or break a chunk of it? I don’t want him getting fat.

Break a chunk and just give to him like that. Also i find that if you give the the whole thing they’ll nibble on it and leave it alone and it will then get old and dirty by the bedding. Hope I helped :)
