do i just wait for my hamsters hair to grow out for it to be that poofy or are some just not as poofy as others? is there such a thing as a long haired and a short haired teddy bear hamster?

I just got 2 baby teddy bear hamsters for my daughters. The hamsters are from the same litter, and both are female and not quite 6 weeks old yet. They’re currently sharing a cage, and get along fine. Is it ok for them to continue sharing a cage or do they each need their own? If I need 2 separate cages, at what age should I seperate the hamsters? Thanks!

I got two male baby long haired teddy bear hamsters at the pet store in the same cage (there not from the same litter), when i brought them home I kept them in the same cage. When they reach adult hood will they fight?

If you got them as babies they shouldn’t. They should learn and grow up together, so they wont be territorial. However if you were to add say another one when they reach adulthood you may find that they are territorial.

Im not exactly sure how I could breed Teddy bear hamsters because they aren’t the nicest hamsters when it comes to company. And I’m not exactly sure how you would breed a robo hamster. Please help!

find a G-Force hamster, even though they are stuck up actors, and a 3CPO, he is also quite arrogant and is all “Im C3PO” So, they should go together well, and they will be so attracted, they will mate. And for Teddy Bear hamsters, find Paddington bear and I think you know where that will go from there.

My four baby teddy bear hamsters were born on Jan 26th. They are now pretty big and drink and eat on their own. the mom Muppy sleeps in her own house with 1 baby. the rest sleep by them self’s. sometimes i see Muppy sleeping with them. Are the baby’s ready to leave their mom? if not when will they be ready?

They are ready to leave their mom when they completely stop nursing and start eating and drinking on their own. They should have full fur of course and open and alert eyes. They grow up really really fast. It usually takes 20 to 25 days so you’re probably about there.

Teddy Bear Hamster Sandy with 7 newborn babies! (HD)

Teddy Bear SANDY gave birth last night on 12 June! When i was going to clean the cage out i remove the wooden log and there was 7 newborn Babies! Didint expect it so suddenly. Mum Sandy taking care of its babies taking up bits of shredded tissues to build a nest for them! Lets Hope all of them survives! What are teddy bear hamsters life expectancy?

I recently just dicovered my pet teddy bear hamster dead when i was going to give her food. Just about 10 minutes ago…. =( I would have had her for 2 years in january. When i bought her at the pet store, they did not tell me how old she was. Is it unusual for them to die that early? I did notice she got really fat (and I mean really fat) to the point where she would waddle. But people told me she was just storing away food cause it was winter, but she has not done that last winter. Could that be the case or was it just old age?
